THE INFINITE WRENCH played two sold out nights at @hullhousemuseum for the inaugural ACT WELL YOUR PART festival. Thanks to @theneofuturists and our audience for transforming our space with energy, experimentation, and good vibes! 

Photos by Sarah L D-Compressed: Activating the Archives of Black Hull-House Theatre, a collaboration between @dcomposedchicago and @hullhousemuseum as part of the ACT WELL YOUR PART festival, was an evening of inspiration and beauty. Thank you to everyone who attended Join Hull-House for a celebration of Chicago's multi-ethnic and multi-generational immigrant legacies. Artist Aram Han Sifuentes, in partnership with HANA Center, brings traditional Korean folk banner-making to Hull-House through a workshop series an ACT WELL YOUR PART, now in the residents’ dining hall, surveys Hull-House's rich contribution to theatre in Chicago, and argues for a continued legacy of civically-engaged performing arts today.

The project takes its name from the epigraph emb Firebird Community Arts and Red Line Service returned to Hull-House this Spring! 

In the fall, a group of about 35 Red Line Service artists joined us for a glass workshop. Many had never tried glass art before, but made stunning works. This past mon Act Well Your Part is open! Thank you to everyone who made our opening night so special, we had a full house as we welcomed Chicago theatre back to Hull-House.

Visitors heard from Chicago theatre leaders Mikhail Fiksel, Marti Lyons, Wendy Mateo, Gab Join Hour Studio for a conversation and celebration of Hull-House Theatre and design. In conversation with Hull-House staff, and the audience, designers Tobey Albright and Mollie Edgar reflect upon the work of reimagining over a century of design for Join celebrated theatre historian Mark Larson for an afternoon of conversation and screenings from the archive of Hull-House Theatre.
